aluminium, diamonds, rubies, sapphires, quartz, crystal and other gemstones.
‘Karl Fritsch is a jeweller. Martino Gamper is a furniture designer. Francis
Upritchard is a sculptor. We involved people who are really good at what they
do – a weaver Lynne Mackay, a potter Nicholas Brandon, a bronze-caster
Jonathan Cambell, a felter Pam Robinson, a glass blower Jochen Holz and
woodturners Jan Komarkowski and Peter Wales – to educate us, inspire
and extend us.’
